Michelle Marsh has specialized in healthcare strategic planning, business development and market analysis for over 20 years, and has been exclusively engaged in hospital and healthcare system strategic and business planning for over 15 years. Ms. Marsh currently is engaged in leading Forma Advisors as the President and CEO. Forma Advisors connects with healthcare organizations across the nation needing guidance and development of their company’s strategic plans and planning processes. For the past five years, Ms. Marsh led the Planning Division at Landmark Healthcare Facilities as the Vice President of Healthcare Strategy and launched Landmark’s Strategic Healthcare Advisory Program that assisted clients with the determination of functions and service lines that are most feasible for inclusion in new outpatient buildings.
Prior to her association with Landmark, Ms. Marsh served as the Vice President of Strategic Planning for Broward Health from 2012 to 2015, one of the largest public healthcare systems in the United States. At Broward Health, Ms. Marsh was responsible for the strategic planning process and the overall development of short and long-term strategic business plans for the healthcare system and its hospitals. Preceding Broward Health, Ms. Marsh managed various projects focusing on the business development and strategic marketing efforts for the HCA East Florida Division. She also served as the director of marketing specifically for various hospitals within the HCA East Florida Division, Westside Regional Medical Center and Plantation General Hospital.
Ms. Marsh holds a Master of Health Services Administration with a focus on healthcare strategic planning from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Administration from the Pennsylvania State University.
She has actively been involved with ACHE and the local chapter, ACHE of South Florida for over 20 years. Ms. Marsh has had the opportunity to sit on the Board of ACHE of South Florida for many years fulfilling various board roles. Ms. Marsh developed the student scholarship committee and believed that new careerists deserve financial support while attending school and receiving higher education with a healthcare focus. She was also the pioneer of the sponsorship committee that focuses on the importance of partners and continued relationships with hospitals, healthcare systems and healthcare businesses across South Florida. Ms. Marsh historically has led the effort and work behind the largest and most profitable ACHE of South Florida event, which is the Annual Board Installation Dinner.
